Kääpa Youth House
The Kääpa Youth House was opened in 2014 in the renovated old school building in Kääpa.
At the Youth House, young people have the opportunity to socialize with other young people, contribute to the development of youth work in the area, implement their cool ideas, and participate in exciting activities.
The following interest groups operate in the Kääpa Youth House:
- Cooking circle
- Crafting/DIY
In addition to the Kääpa Youth House, activities have been held once a week on Wednesdays in the youth room located at the Lasva Community Center since the autumn of 2023. Cooking and crafting activities are also available there.
The Kääpa Youth House welcomes all young people to visit!
Services and Opportunities
In the old building with a cozy atmosphere, young people have the opportunity to play small and large board games: table tennis, billiards, and WildEst. Competitions and tournaments can be organized with various PlayStation games. Additionally, they can listen to music and watch movies and cartoons in the TV corner.
The building also includes a playground where young people of different age groups can engage in active activities. In the immediate vicinity of the Youth House are also the disc golf park, low ropes adventure trail, and volleyball court.
It is possible to hold a birthday party or other smaller events at the Kääpa Youth House.
Accessibility
Access to the Kääpa Youth House is from Kooli Street. The Youth House rooms are located on the first and second floors of the building. The building is wheelchair accessible; there is a ramp in front of the house for this purpose. Wheelchair access to the second floor of the building is not available.
