Introduction
The Lasva Community Center Theatre Troupe Häänali stages at least one performance every year and performs with it at two to three community center events, at the Lasva Water Tower, and at the Võrumaa Rural Theatre Day.
The troupe is often invited to perform at birthdays or company parties. They have also had commissioned performances; for instance, a play with a shop theme was commissioned for the Võru Consumers' Cooperative 100th anniversary event. The Lasva Community Center Theatre Troupe Häänali presented Aapo Ilves' play "Puut" to a full house at the Võru Kannel.
The Häänali theatre troupe gets together, makes jokes, and discusses world affairs, and in the process, a performance is incidentally created.
History
The theatre group started its activities in the autumn of 2010 at the Lasva Community Center. Initially, they only gathered for one project, but everyone enjoyed acting, so they stayed together to continue making theatre. They started with ten people, and currently, they operate with seven members.
